A compact 24V / 90V / 180V DC operated electromagnetic disc brake designed for spring-applied, power-released braking action. The DC coil is mounted within a precision-machined housing and directly actuates the armature plate. When energized, the electromagnetic field releases the friction disc to allow shaft rotation. Upon power interruption, the compression springs immediately engage the disc to provide instant braking.The brake assembly consists of a friction disc, DC coil, armature plate, pressure springs, and heavy-duty mounting flange. The armature plate is dynamically balanced to ensure uniform contact pressure and consistent torque output. The enclosed construction minimizes dust ingress and external contamination, ensuring stable performance and long operational life under continuous-duty conditions.
