A compact 415V/50Hz/3-ph AC operated electromagnetic disc brake designed for spring-applied, power-released braking action. The electromagnetic coil is mounted within a rugged housing and directly actuates the armature plate. During normal operation, the energized coil releases the brake disc to allow shaft rotation. In case of power failure, the compression springs automatically engage the friction disc to provide immediate braking.The brake assembly consists of a precision-machined friction disc, electromagnetic coil, pressure plate, and heavy-duty mounting flange. The armature plate is dynamically balanced to ensure uniform contact and consistent torque output. The enclosed construction protects internal components from dust and external contaminants, ensuring reliable performance and long service life.
